I know it's off-topic, but I just 36* the abyss for the first time ever!🕺
All of the investment into Wanderer and Navia finally paid off. On the last floor I had to reset and change teams only once, because no one in Wanderer's team could break puro-Fatui's shield (I probably could have succesfully stunned and bursted him down if I retried a few times).

For interested, I used:
Wanderer + c6 Faruzan + Layla + Bennet - on the first half
Navia + Furina + Xilonen + Xingqiu - on the second half

I'd easily say Furina is the best character in the game. Insane buff with insane damage applying the best element in the game and enabling one of the best artifacts in the game for all DPSes who can use it; It goes way beyond just buffing and debuffing capabilities like Xilonen and Kazuha.

top 3 is really close. ill put kazuha lower and furina higher. the reason for this is for abyss runs. i call my one team a furina team and the other side is anything that doesnt require furina. her buff is really and partnering her with yelan or xilonen is just cheating.

Personally I believe Furina is the best character in the entire game. Whenever I’m running abyss my first thought when I’m building a team is always “which team gets furina?” My team building decisions revolve around her more than any other character. Whichever team doesn’t get her sees a noticeable drop in performance when used with alternatives. We have so many healers in the game now and especially with the addition of xilonen her “downside” of needing healer is barely a downside at this point. She works in so many teams, even more than xilonen and kazuha do because she doesn’t need to trigger reactions and does everything with extremely little field time required. Kazuha and Xilonen are most certainly right behind her but she raised the dps ceiling on near every team in the game when she dropped and even created new ones. I believe she is truly the honored one.

Nah queen Furina still reigns as best character she just offers so much even at c0 assuming u have a team healer, which many are free. Also her Pokémon summons are monsters who destroy everything in their path lol definitely our best hydro sub dps which is the most valuable role to have with hydro being so broken/high demand

Xilonen doesn't work that well as a replacement in some vv vape teams. It's very hard to give a damage bonus to both pyro/hydro so you're basically trading damage bonus for longer resistance shred

For example, arle e yelan e q Bennet q Kazuha e q will provide both res shred + damage bonus for both elements, while also having more off-field hydro with kazuhas q.

However Xilonen can't Crystallise both hydro and pyro easily for the natlan artifact set. Either give up on one of the damage bonuses or use her burst and get a 12% buff, as it's outside of her nightsoul blessing state

Getting Furina c2 is the best thing you could do to yourself in this game gameplay wise "for me at least"

While I don't fully agree on placing C0 Furina 3rd - just by the virtue of Hydro being so omnipresent and needed in most reactions - I can see your angle there. I think that at C2+ there is basically no competition though.

Neuvillete was truly a game changing unit for my account, still my favourite to this day, no other character even comes close to what he provides (on my account with my investment at least)

C2 Furina is like a different unit

C2 Xilonen is a beast for both overworld and abyss

Nahida… well, she’s very good for her teams, the thing is there is not a lot of popular teams that need her anymore

I’m predicting another season of ungroupable Abyss enemies because as you mentioned 9:54 Xilonen (and every other Natlan character to date) has no grouping - not even a taunt if I recall.

Excited to see what the Pyro Archon or Natlan’s version of Neuvilette will bring because Hoyo will want a new set of top 5.
