How to FIX Unable to Delete Folder, Could not find this item

cmd code: rd /s "\\?\*** "
replace *** with location folder you want to delete. Y (yes) to confirm.

I still cant remove the file trying all these methods. I get 'Access is Denied' and 'System Cannot Find File' responses. Any ideas?
I have also tried shredding it through AVG and it fails. Send help!

Right click on desktop
Hit view
Uncheck show desktop items
Check it back on
Now the shortcut is deleted
