Under 50, pays for itself the first job. Might not make it to the second though....

Everyone says these will not last, yet I've had the impact and the matching drill for 3 years now used heavily and they both still work great

would love to see this on torque test channel to see how it stacks up to other 1/4 impacts on the graph

I've had the impact, drill, extended ratchet, regular ratchet and the rotary tool for over 4 months. Great value and price. Hyper tough has stepped up their game.

Dewalt DCF850 1/4" can tighten to about 180 ft-lb, and break 350+ ft-lb pretty easily (more with a weighed socket). it was $120 with a 5ah battery, charger and carrying bag during the father day. it's the last 1/4" you'll ever need.

The issue is most people don't want anymore batteries or chargers, and hyper tough doesn't have a good enough line up to invest in a new battery system. Not to mention for another $50 you can get a full sized impact from dewalt that I'm willing to bet will outlive and out work that thing

That hypertough looks like an excellent choice for a homeowner that doesn't do very big projects. Will definitely work for small diy weekend projects.

Lol I was dealing with a STUPID tight control arm bolt on my car everything I tried couldn't get it loose, picked one of those impacts up at Walmart... Best decision of my life!

It’s unreal the power that even starter kit cordless tools have now. I bought a cheap Ryobi 1+ impact driver a few months back as a spare mainly for use by helpers when I have them. This was a 26$ bare tool. It’s brushed, and is the one out the 100ish dollar 1+ starter kit. It will zip off wheel lugs that were torqued and retorqued to 100ft lbs 2 years ago. It doesn’t struggle a bit. I honestly wouldn’t buy a larger cordless impact wrench if I didn’t already have one.

People be sleeping on this impact. I’ve used it on job everyday for about a year now and it works like the day I got it. The problem is people let their pride and potential criticism from others keep them from using it.

I've always said it. Hyper tough stuff isn't bad. Not my go to, but if you need it for base level stuff, it'll work great. I've never bought their power tools, but I love their side stuff. Best oil filter claw I've ever had. 😊 if you need another step up just go with red or yellow, you need another step up, Ingersoll Rand all day, even for max level stuff.

I'm not a huge fan of budget tools for my own work because I do commercial, but if I were to get basic tools just for personal use, that thing is awesome.

If I ever get in a pinch and new a impact driver and don't have any of my tools I might would go buy this in an emergency situation.

That's that's insanely scary that bosch 12 v impact driver got destroyed by hyper tough 😅

I have the little brushless ratchets- they’ve worked pretty well since I bought them several months ago.
Only got them to help with a heater core in my Ex’s Expedition. They worked and they still work. Just sayin.

My concern with Hyper-tough is long term platform support. Harbor freight, Makita, Ridgid, and Craftsman have all discontinued “triple stack” 12 volt platforms over past few years.

I got the hyper tough mid torque for about a year now Used mainly on suspension lug nuts, and it’s done great only had 2 instances that it couldn’t get something off since all the rust just had it frozen on, paired with the 4.0 ah battery it’s a great little tool

After purchasing and watching many videos on the hypertough. Key tip buy the 4Amp battery, it is much stronger and takes bolts off no problem

Hyper tough is what I get for Father's day and use on basic maintenance stuff, they do have some pretty cool gimmicky stuff, like a zero swing ratchet, you can just twist the handle like a motorcycle throttle to spin the socket so you don't need room to swing the handle.
