The fact that Condit literally turned his back to Nick, pumped his arms and literally ran from Nick (and he doesn’t usually do that in fights I know) tells you most of the story of this fight. Judges hate Nick Diaz I’m convinced.

Nick Diaz is one of my two favorite fighters in the entire world. I wanted him to beat Condit badly. With that being said, the people freaking out about Condit "running" is laughable. Condit runs; Machida is innovative. MMA fans are a loyal bunch I guess.

@MancoChakutec Probably not in this year cause Diaz fails test for Marijuana. This happend second time in his career, so I think the resctrictions will be bigger than first time(6 month suspension). Second we don't know if Diaz will be continued his mma carrer.

@SlothfulCynic Either way, from what I have seen of both fighters in the last few fights, neither really has much of a chance against St-Pierre. I would have preferred Diaz win as his trash-talking can really hype up a fight, but it will be interesting to see what Condit will try to pull off. I imagine St-Pierre will take him down and dominate him there, which is what I though Diaz would try much earlier.

So in the end Condit got the belt. Period. And all the judges thought so.

@SlothfulCynic Under Pride rules he would not have, not even close. It takes something like the Emmanuel Yarborough vs Daiju Takase fight where Takase really never tried to fight at all.

Regarding the stats, look at how even head and body are close. Add in all those "baby" leg kicks (which did seem to be slowing Diaz down somewhat in later rounds), and I think the judges can be justified in giving Condit the win.

Just my opinion, of course, and I like strategic fights more than most probably.

This all just shows how bad ass nick diaz is. When you have a bad ass in condit running the whole fight, and failing to engage, just shows what Diaz is made of. Diaz is a TRUE fighter.
