I have so much respect for TV shows that don't rely on swearing or constant sex to be a good show. It seems the only way for some shows to get attention is by having something disgusting like that. Yes! As a very sheltered 18 year old in a public high school, it pains me how sexualized our culture has become! C.S. Lewis explained it the best in his chapter about sexuality in Mere Christianity— our culture has become so centered on it, it’s kind of disturbing...

This reminds me of when I watched the old Hollywood movie "Roman Holiday" with Audrey Hepburn. There's a scene where they don't even kiss, yet it's so full of intimacy and chemistry I couldn't believe it. Their acting was incredible! That is how you make real art on screen.

This is one of the reasons why I prefer watching Korean dramas and Japanese dramas. They are almost always more subtle and appropriate.

Yes unfortunately it's very normal now. Hollywood has "intimacy coordinators" to assist on film sets. 🙄 Gee, if this physical act you're trying to do on camera is really vulnerable and requires tons of consent and a coordinator to ensure that there's no abuse taking place, maybe it shouldn't be in movies/shows/entertainment?? Just my thoughts lol.
