I love that he’d re-film through the entire movie just to change that one detail.

It kinda feels like a representation of their relationship and how they were not entirely in sync with each other

The “la la hand “ at the end is what made it all worth it for me

I love how the graphic designer just placed a street lamp in there to fix it.

Why do I feel like it's Ryan's real-life papyrus obsession?

I like it better this way, it's good contrast between the two of them.

I love it! It's like he's smooth and sliding like jazz, and she's twirling like a musical actress. The juxtaposed poses is what drew me to the film, because of the asymmetry, and it's one of my favorite films

Honestly, I think it reflected their characters well. She was more type A, perfectionist, uptight, whilst he was more relaxed, go with the flow, cheeky person. I thought the two distinct dance styles were done on purpose, as part of the characters, honestly.

Oh, Ryan. I love that little detail tbh. It just shows the contrast between the two characters. Seb was jazzy and Mia was precise.

i thank the comment section for making this small imperfection better by finding meaning in it

Ryan Gosling is slowly turning into a Baldwin brother

His La La Hand is exactly representative of his character because he only half went after what truly mattered in life. I think he was truly in character when he chose that angle for La La Hand.

If it would've been about perfection, they could have just photoshopped the poster. But it's rather about imperfection, authenticity and it fits the characters perfectly!

I have so much respect for him that he cares so much about that tiny detail.

I always liked it, it gave the dance more of a casual frolic vibe than a polished number 😂

Actually that is my favorite part of the dance because to me it looks so much cooler by adding in some personality. I love it, so I'm glad he did it.

I'll never be able to unsee that 😂😂😂

He says “it’s a thing!” the same exact way he delivers “so they changed it!” in that papyrus sketch lol

I love the imperfection of it, and the differences between the two. You can even say it's just how incompatible the two are despite sharing such an intimate and amazing moment
