Opening Prayer: Together
O Holy God, we gather together today as we continue on the path of
Lent. We pray that through this time of worship, we will be refreshed
to continue the journey with Jesus as our guide and source of hope and
strength.
O God, we come into Your presence from a world of brokenness and
pain. We need You to restore our souls and refresh our spirits. As we
listen to Your words, sing Your praise, and open ourselves to You in
prayer, we know that Your Spirit will touch us at the deepest levels.
Fill our lives once again so that we might be renewed and equipped to
be Your servants in working for a world of justice and peace. We pray
these things in the name of Your beloved Son, our friend and Savior.

above. Let us share our bread with those who hunger. Let us learn to
forgive as well as to receive forgiveness. Help us through the time of
temptation, delivering us from all evil. For ours are the eternal blessings
that You pour upon the earth. AMEN
