Back when I was in the RCAF at CFB Trenton, around 1986 I think, we were on the afternoon shift from 3 to 11 m and the 5 CC-137 Boeing 707s were scheduled to come home for Christmas, coming in an hour apart from everywhere, the first one due was the flight from Lahr, West Germany after it's stop in Ottawa at about 5 pm. At about 4:45 pm the plans changed and all 5 were coming in at 5 pm now, so there was a mad scramble to organize parking crews, power units and where they were going to be parked for night. So at 5 pm we went out and all 5 overflew the base in a V-formation, extremely impressive, and we managed to get them all parked and found hanger space for 3 of them in 10 Hanger and we were lucky that night and there were no emergency landing by airlines that were late getting into Pearson Airport,
