In this video, I will be showing you What to do after installing Parrot Security OS | Parrot OS 5.1 |

Commands :-
1. Root Account Set up
sudo su
sudo passwd root

2. Updates & Upgrades
sudo apt update && apt full-upgrade -y

3.Install Graphics Drivers (NVIDIA)
sudo apt update
sudo apt install -y ocl-icd-libopencl1 nvidia-driver nvidia-cuda-toolkit

4.Install Media Codecs
sudo apt install libdvdnav4 gstreamer1.0-plugins-bad gstreamer1.0-plugins-ugly libdvd-pkg -y

5.Install Parrot Metapackages
sudo apt-get install parrot-tools-full

Seriously a life savior.
I couldn't boot Kali because of NVIDIA, same to parrot, but parrot gives an option to boot without NVIDIA thus was able to turn it on.
Also I couldn't open the security version because of an GRUB error thus had to install another version.
Your video helped eradicate both NVIDIA and install security parrot version problems 👍.

I have decided to install, but Kali won't let me do it, so I switched to Parrot and installed in my 5 years old 32 gb HP laptop that no longer functional due to no more room for update. in 2023, there are some servers that down work in California, and I dont like how i keep getting many errors. I just cant even use the apt-get update, or sudo apt update ommands. the links are not working I tried many regions.

Fr why google chrome? Its a security based os and comes with tor browser and firefox... adding chrome is pointles and honestly make security wholes. Your best defense in your system is only as good as your weakest link
