Story line:
" One winter, when I was a student, my girlfriend Allison and I went to the mountains for a few days to ski. We chose a small village near a ski resort. In those days, it was not possible to book accommodation remotely, so we decided to do it after we arrived. We collected the necessary things, then went to the railway station, bought tickets and boarded the train. About 12 hours later we arrived at the Malaya Gora railway station. There we saw many ads for renting out housing. But when we called each of them, we were told that the housing had already been rented out and there were no vacancies. This upset us, but we did not give up. There was a taxi service near the station, they could take you to the nearest villages by snowmobile. There was a strong snowstorm and the roads were covered with snow, so a snowmobile was the only option for us to get somewhere in such weather. We did so, and in half an hour we were in a village called "Bear Grove". When we arrived, the driver asked us where to take us. We did not know the exact address, since we did not have one, we decided to look for housing after the fact. We were lucky because the driver told us that he had an aunt who lived there and rented out a house. He took us to her place and to our good fortune, his aunt had one free house for rent. The only thing that was special about this house was that it was in a tree. At first, Allison and I didn't believe it, we thought it was a joke. But when Rebecca (that was the name of the taxi driver's aunt) showed us the house, we realized that it was not a joke. The house was indeed located high up, attached to the trunks of several large and strong trees. It could only be reached by a ladder. We were initially skeptical about the offer, but when we got upstairs and inside, we immediately agreed and rented it for four days. Rebecca left us the keys and left. This little house was superb, we felt like we were in a fairy tale. The house was made entirely of wood, all the furniture was wooden and authentic, a patterned rug, pillows and other interior and household items. The old fireplace warmed the room well, and the large window offered a beautiful view of the entire village. Allison and I were incredibly happy to be here. But the most interesting things were waiting for us further. " To be continued...
