Lots of credit to go around here.
Special thanks to Lunarmodule5 for his fantastic resources. including never before heard ONBOARD audio of the Apollo 13 launch -- that video linked below!
Also, 1969 corresponded with the end of the age of Pisces, not Capricorn. The movement of the eras is retrograde.

NASA footage is in the public domain.
"Age of Aquarius" by Andy Williams

Soundtrack includes pieces from Roblox: Backpacking, Civilization: Beyond Earth, and O.R.B.

I worked for Beech Aircraft at the Boulder Colorado plant as a sheet metal assembler. I built fuselage assemblies for the Beech 99 airliner. This factory made the O2 tanks for Apollo and may have actually seen that particular tank that failed on Apollo 13. The manufacturing of those tanks was in a clean room but assembled tanks were lined up and could be seen through a viewing window and being readied for shipment. Beech Aircraft was a subcontractor to North American Rockwell for the Apollo project. I worked at the Boulder Colorado plant from 1968-1969. When that failure occurred on Apollo 13 I was in Vietnam as a Combat Engineer in April 1970; 571st Engr, 3rd Bge, 9th Inf 69-70.

Your decision to time the film score with the entry/recovery footage was diabolically brilliant. Not a dry eye in the house.

1:11:30 That missed handshake was the most tragic part of the Apollo 13 mission.

I lived the real thing. I was there in front TV screen when Apollo 13 gently splashed down on the Pacific. Just want to express my gratitude to people like you who strive to honor the glory of the days gone by and to refresh these memories to the new generations. It's a gorgeous work in an impecable way. I think maybe the best or one of the best documentaries on Apollo 13. Thanks, a lot guys!

Wow, these are unequivocally the most profusely top notch collected documentaries I've ever encountered. All is so cerebrally detailed, and a joy to watch. These are in sheer contrast with mainstream docus which have always been quite superficial. The works here are of top level dedication and competence. Thank you so much for this.

Apollo 13 story is a complete obsession with me, it has to be the most miraculous rescue story ever. The effects of all concerned to try to bring them home was commendable. This is a fantastic documentary on it. Thanks

These are simply the best documentaries anywhere! Nothing can come close to the quality and professionalism of these extremely entertaining and historic documentaries of the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo space programs.

I was 11 years old and, with no TV in Southern India back then, could only follow the mission via newspapers (promoted to front page headline category!) and the Voice of America radio station. Remember prayers being offered at temples across the country. Vivid memories still with me like it happened yesterday!! Absolutely fantastic effort in bringing the crew back home safe.

Because of nasa and going to the moon, we now have powerful laptop computers, smartphones, and others technologies like ICU's that monitor patients from a distance.... and more.

THE best ever documentary about Apollo 13 I have seen. I particularly enjoyed the previously unseen footage of NASA investigating and replicating the explosion along with launch communications I have never heard until now. Brilliantly explained, superbly detailed. And the suspense at the end waiting for 13 to splash down was awesome. Even though I know they were saved I still get emotional when they finally contact mission control and those chutes open up. First class. Thankyou very much for making this.

Dear Sir, as a NASA and space fan I can only congratulate you on your professionalism and dedication to make these beautiful documentaries. Best of all, they are free. Of course I am a loyal subscriber (from Luxembourg). You deserve 100 times more subscribers by the way.

I can't believe Netflix just released a documentary on the same subject when yours is just available here for free and so much better. Your talent and passion are impressive! Thank you

I've just discovered your channel and I'm amazed at the quality. Your stuff is better than anything mainstream documentaries (or movies, ahem) have ever produced.
