Great video and hope it makes people come to visit us in Scotland.

On the weather and clothing it can be very variable but as Sir Billy Connely said “There is no such thing as bad weather just inappropriate clothing!”

I live in Scotland, and we in Scotland take English money but in England they may not take Scottish money. My husband was in the Royal Navy and I was in a clothing shop getting School uniforms as we had just moved to Plymouth, I handed over £200 in Scottish money and was told they could not accept it. I was a young mother and it was 1989 . I felt myself going beetroot and asked to see the manager who was very nasty and said it was not legal tender. I told him I would shop elsewhere, he was very upset as he did not realise I was spending so much money . Unfortunately to this day a lot of English shops refuse to take Scottish money even though it is legal tender and they are the ones breaking the law. If you have Scottish money left and are visiting England please either spend it in Scotland or ask for English money.

Hang your clothes outside if possible. They'll be dry in half an hour and smelling fresh 👍
