I remember when this phone came out. I was glad the days of the soft, ultra shiny plastic on the back were over, but I also hated the faux leather look. The edges and buttons looked amazing though. I think I'm going to buy one for old time's sake. This phone was amazing.

i just bought that for 20$ on. the market place. its really hard to install some apps dho but features behind this device are incredible. playing pubg and mlbb still working fine.

I have a T-Mobile Samsing Note 4. I haven't used it years till last week. My Samsing Note 20 Ultra, the screen stopped working. So I revived my old Note 4 to use since a replacement Note 20 Ultra would arrive in a few days. The Note 4 did its job, it was slower but the Note 4 got me through the days of use. I'll hold on to this old phone, just need to get a new battery. The replacement battery I bought years ago when I was still using the Note 4 does not last long and have to keep it on the charger. The Note 4 is a good backup when I need it.

WHAT the note 4 is a great phone to get in 2024. You can put a case on the back for wireless charging. Take notes with the phone make calls and it can control every device in the house through wifi and ir blaster. All for under 100 bucks. What phone can do that in 2024 for way under 100 bucks. Exactly

You have not covered the aspect of the PHONE feature (a.k.a. making calls) and using it as a "daily driver"

I have 2 of these, I also ported Ubuntu Touch to it as well, I stopped working on it when the U.S. carriers dropped support for it though, one can still put Ubuntu Touch on the V, P, and F variants, the T one was working but something broke along the way and I never did figure it out

I'm sorry I don't agree that it's outdated I tested against a brand new top tier Samsung phone and tablet and it kept up if not was faster at some times

I currently have the iphone xs max and a samsung s10. I thought about upgrading to the iphone 13 pro for the 120hz display, and a newer samsung. But the newer samsungs front cameras are not good bad quality. And no expandable storage which made samsung so great. And iphones are the same screen ever since the X and XS, minus a few additions like island mode or the new iphone 15 type c port. But im really considering going back because these phones made me feel good . I held a s3 and note 4 and felt like i was in the future and at a good price. Now i see these $1, 000 phones and no real advancements and get sad. To add on to this rant, tech is really not refreshing anymore. When i first played the ps4 coming from ps3, i noticed the jump and felt a luxury fall over me in next gen gaming. A couple of weeks ago I bought the ps5 for $300 and yes it looks nice and has 120hz, but i didnt give me that full refresh i wanted in a next gen console . So i sold it and stuck with my ps4 slim. I cant see any real progress in technology advancements and its sad
