I just enjoyed the light shining out of this film, the pure acting and the grainy image does its job for a retro style. The final scenes using frames from previous Redford movies made my heart warmer. It was kind of magical one and a half hour.

My favorite Redford performance was as Alexander Pierce in Captain America - The Winter Soldier! He brought gravitas and complexity to an arch baddy who had motivation and drive toward a goal which transcended his political allegiance. His delivery of his pitch for Project Insight was so smooth!

I think my favorite Robert Redford performance was in The Last Castle. His performance here actually reminded me how good he was in that movie. The way he would explain lesser known historical or military details was absolutely fascinating!

Loved the film. In a way it was beautiful to watch. You are correct, it has plenty of heart.

Danny glover and the other accomplice were absolutely necessary. Clearly this critic is somewhat of a novice film critic, because he doesn't understand the subtleties that these types of characters create, that are essential to the storyline. Also, one important thing, there are integral to the film because they were his true partners in real life. Hence the name....over the hill GANG. The robbers were not called the OVER THE HILL DUDE. Critic here focused merely on the obvious aspects of the film, and clearly is not aware of nor can articulate the significance of the other characters in the film, and how their presence is absolutely integral to film.

This movie felt like outtakes from a movie. It had zero action. Simplicity is putting it mildly. When it came to the robbery scenes he flashed a gun and the scene was over. This movie could have been good but it wasnt.

Slow, plodding, dull movie.
Paid 5.99 and want my money back. The mark of a good movie is that your watch it again. Not a chance. 2.5 stars. Dont waste your money or time.

I think Sneakers is a very underated performance but obviously Butch and Sundance is my favorite but I have to be honest this was not a good movie, poor pacing terrible writing. 👎👎
