I have 6 and 8mm with same cord and both strings don't fit in any bead hole together 😢

I just made one tonight with a little smaller cord and 4mm beads and did 4 x on each side instead of 6 and it's loose like ...beads move some ...I used nylon I am using sane cord but 6mm and they still try to move up and down or loose to side....I'm pulling so I don't get it. Are yours loose at all and we just can't tell ? Am I so use to doing leather cord and beading thread and use to tight tight.?
