Thank you for sharing! I really resonated with your story and it came at the right time. I am in between jobs and trying to figure it out. Nervous, scared and ready to move forward. Just like you, I have loved planning since high school when I planned two proms and all my senior year events. It just kept going from there through college planning fashion shoes, student events, and other productions. Very thankful to have come across your page and will be tuning for advice! Thank you!!

I clicked on this video because I had a feeling that it would be super relatable and it definitely was. Thanks for sharing your story, I’ve been working on the production side of the events managing load-ins/outs, TR, stage management etc so I was in agreement with you when you said it’s nice to see the work translate. It’s a lot of long hours and mental and emotional energy that goes into this but the end results leaves such a great feeling. I dont typically comment on videos, but thank you. I’ve been adjacent to this industry my entire career, and the events side was always got me excited and what I volunteered to do, I even started committees and events was always the thing. I just didnt know it had a name bc I didnt see myself being a traditional event planner.
