How can you tell when the congressman is lying? His lips are moving...

Remember 2 years ago when oil companies had to pay people to take their oil? Why is no one mentioning this?
Politics is a minor part of why production is not ramping up. This is about capital allocation and avoiding having to produce oil at a LOSS ever again.

Poor Ro needed Sorkin to bail him out with Trump comparisons. Bravo Becky and Joe! It is rare to see journalists question the absurd party script

this reminds me of the videos where they ask Americans questions and they expect them to give stupid answers to make others laugh, but this is not suppose to happen this way. This is real and they have no idea how to fix the problem other than blame it on Putin, or the oil companies, my god, we are going into elections and we can't blame ourselves for being so stupid.

Take away:
1- our ally first
2- Rep. Ro Khanna understands jackload about oil.
3- They are for short term increase but after things cool down, these investment should be considered loss because they will force decrease of production.

Inflation adjusted 4 highest years of gas prices running in the US prior to this recent turn, were 2011-2014 continuously. That was BEFORE the ban on crude without license was lifted by act of congress.

there is plenty of oil, it will crash to -70 this month or next. $2 gallon nationwide, interest rates are to great of a gravitational force against artificial inflation pressures. fraudulent stock market will lead to a crash at the end. Short everything.

Oil that we export uses our roads and pipelines to get to the docks. We should put a export tax per gallon on the exported oil to help pay for our roads to be kept up.

How will she put an export band on oil when she had agreed to take the place of Russians supply oil for Europe?

So a global supply shortage of oil, and his solution is for U.S. to ban exports??!! Also, you force our allies to trade with countries who would use oil as a weapon, which is exactly the problem we have right now!

Putin didn't tell Europe to stop buying Russian oil.

It’s disingenuous to say children are the future and say we should not be developing more oil to get by now. These oil companies have made absurd $ over the decades while lobbying against modern rapid transit, sustainability & energy independence. These broadcasters epitomize the sick selfish state of our country.
I don’t think we should be there for a few more oil now myself. If we were our forefathers like the ones who sacrificed during World War II, doing things like switching automobile factories to support the war, then nowadays we’d be switching these auto factories to rapid transit factories while incentivizing properly planned communities. Spoiled Americans like this think they deserve saddling future generations for their own convenience.

Any and ALL meddling in the free market is short term gain and long term cost. WITHOUT EXCEPTION.
