One secret that you missed, is that you can actually spot Boris for a split second at points, including at the beginning of the game, right after opening a large door.

It would have been funny if the credits on the "staying in the workplace" ending only showed Audrey's VA, whoever made the models on that office and the sound effects used during the sequence, kind of adding to the "Yeah, that was the whole game" joke

This wouldn't be known to most, but " The Illusion of Living" is a spoof of the famous book "The Illusion of Life" which is a book about animation written by a few of the most famous 2D animators in history. It details all of the concepts they made famous and consequently made a staple of teaching animation ever since (concepts like "squash and stretch", "frame to frame", and "anticipation" etc all came from them).

It's widely considered a must-have for anyone going into animation, so it's a wonderful little homage in a game about animation!

I love how Bendy The Dark Revival brings back *old* easter eggs from Bendy and The Ink Machine and also adds a hell ton of new easter eggs, i also love how they bring back old moments from the old game.




*SPOILER:* It was also quite sad how the memory version of Joey Drew died by his creation, believing in Audrey to break the cycle.

25:36 That is Borkis, the secret encounter from Boris and the Dark Survival, level 414. The yellow eyes are a kin to how Boris used wear a miner's hat when searching for items. Much like the Projectionist, Borkis used the light of his eyes to blind his prey.

Boris actually does appear in the game. I can't remember the specific section, but if you look through a grate in The Keepers building (I think) to the grate across, Boris can be seen crawling through the other side. Maybe he's trying to free Henry?

I just love when a game is littered with secrets! You never know what's in store whether it be funny ad-ins from the devs, some cute bits of lore, Or even Hints for the next game or big revelations of the game! So much fun to find them all!

Another fun touch. At the very end, where Audrey plans with new Bendy about what her next step is, we see Bendy sporting a few new touches of red on his otherwise black-and-white body. Just like his most influential predecessor and inspiration; Mickey Mouse, one of the very few rubber hose cartoons to survive the shift to color.

Anybody else think the Carly ghost attacks are most annoying? It’s a good think knowing that not opening the box keeps her trapped. But I think the curiosity for most causes them to open the box. Unknowingly releasing her and cursing them. 20:13

17:00 This would be a bit on the nose, but imagine if the Ink Jets played a rock cover of Build Our Machine. After all we know that song exist in the universe (at least the instrumental) so I think it could’ve been a nice throwback (as long as DAGames gave his permission.)

At the start, when the member of the butcher gang chases Audrey - he is summoned away by a familiar tune. The fan song of "Almost Anything" by CG5.

The grumpy movie critic is an homage to the original Mystery Science Theater 3000. That brief glimpse of the gear above the door is the logo for the Gizmonic Institute, where the "regular Joe" Joel Robinson worked before Doctor Clayton Forrester sent him to the Satellite of Love to torture him with bad movies. The voice itself sounds a lot like Joel Hodgson, show creator and Joel's actor. I don't know for sure if the quote is from him directly.

I knew the Illusion of Living books had something to do with the insanity ending. Whenever I saw that the ending was deemed “unused, ” I started to think about Joey’s books you can collect throughout the game. Glad I was kinda right 😅.

19:30 What’s weird is it almost looks like Bendy enjoyed that. He has a surprised look on his face what happens, but smiles at you as if to say “That was fun let’s do it again.” Then again I guess he’s almost always smiling anyway.
