In an update to supporters, Barcelona have confirmed they will continue to play matches at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys until into the New Year. The club claimed a UEFA rule had been a key factor, with European football's governing body preventing teams from moving stadiums during the initial phase of the Champions League.

There won't be games at Camp Nou until late March/April AT BEST. More likely Barca will finish the season at Montjuic.

Based on how it looks now at the end of November, it seems almost impossible they would have it ready in February to play in, even if it is only partially complete. Look at all the equipment lying around. No pitch and most seats still not installed. So many safety issues with 50-60k people supposedly being able to seat there for the initial phase.

I can accept you say "Louis" instead of LLuís with double L, but please, Companys is not pronounced as "companies" in english, NY in catalan is the same as Ñ in spanish, NH in portuguese or GN in italian or french. Please try to correct that, every time you say Louis Companies a little cat dies in Catalonia 😀 Beside of that, i love this short updates.
