I’m not even an Oregon fan but the guy comparing Dan Lanning with Mario Cristobal is idiotic.

❤Freeman and the Irish to win the next 🏆! Irish will get another home game in the playoffs and then they are ROLLIN to the championship!😮

Mario Cristóbal also beat Ohio State at Ohio State while at Oregon.

The reason Freeman has a huge advantage over these other coaches in the playoffs, is Notre Dame cannot get a Bye that increases their odds of landing a home game and the team getting their juices flowing and confidence! Those BYEs are like Rat Poison for a football team! It seems the Playoffs were designed for the Irish to find a big POT of GOLD every season! 💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰

As a Duck fan I can confidently say Mario is good at stacking talent but very awful at knowing how to use the talent

The concept of Marcus Freeman proving Brian Kelly wrong when Brian Kelly justified his coaching move to LSU by saying that Notre Dame is not a college football program that you can win a national championship at is hilarious. The relevance of Notre Dame in the college football landscape solely relies on Notre Dame being an independent football program with no conference. If Notre Dame football was part of the ACC like every other Notre Dame sport, the football program would fall into their appropriate mediocrity as the 4th or 5th best ACC football program (at a time where ACC football is in a major trough compared to national standards).
If I had to guess, Marcus Freeman would pull a similar move to Brian Kelly if he was offered the head coaching position to a team that could actually win the national championship like when Brian Kelly left Notre Dame for LSU. For example, I have 100% confidence that Marcus Freeman would pull a move similar to Brian Kelly leaving Notre Dame for LSU and would leave Notre Dame after 10 seasons of getting demolished in the postseason with no hope of national championship aspirations for an offer by FSU if he actually wanted to be the HC of a national championship team.

Michigan is going to be stacking a few Top 7ish classes here in a row, with Underwood at QB and a very talented OL. WRs is the only area that concerns me. Sherrone will have a very realistic chance in the next 3 years.
