The good thing about composite veneers is that if the tooth breaks it can be fixed the next day in 30 minutes. But when a porcelain veneer breaks (accidental fall or injury) you have to replace the whole thing! And pay a lot of money and waiting time maybe a few weeks to make it.

I just got veneers and I'll be honest, NOT A FAN!! If you have healthy teeth and just get veneers for looks, not worth it. I've only had veneers about a month and day two into it one broke and it seems another front one is thinning out if they makes sense. If you need coverage for a front tooth just have them fill it. Dental filling lasts so much longer and so much more durable than veneers

porcelain is the way to go. In the states the toilets get dirty at the very bottom of the bowl. It's bc there is no glaze there.

I just got my front 2 teeth prep for veneers. Not sure I made the right choice here. Now I’m having some sensitivity in my gums or teeth. Can’t tell at this moment since they were prep yesterday. My teeth are not in bad shape just the color and a small gap was the issue for me. I just hope I don’t regret this for the rest of my life. In a month I should see. 🤷🏻‍♀️

In the US a dentist would never use composite bonding to a whole tooth except to temporarily repair a chipped tooth....

Quick question : I am about to change a 20 year old bridge, 4 top front teeth. I have 4 pillars underneath. I was wondering, instead of putting back a 4 teeth bridge, why not put 4 single crowns? Is there a disadvantage to do so or none? Thanks for the help.

Porcelin is very strong substance BUT, its getting the damn things to stick on effectively. Mine just wont. 1, 200 quid wasted
