Will India’s PM Modi win a rare third term in office?

India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be seeking a rare third term in power, when the country goes to the polls from Friday (Apr 19). Professor Sumit Ganguly, visiting fellow at Stanford University's Hoover Institution, tells CNA's Asia First his predictions for the elections, and the implications of a potential supermajority for Mr Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party in parliament.

This person mentioned especially Tamil Nadu BJP will not come, however he did not mention BJP vote share will be predicted to go from 5% to 20% that is significant growth. Also expected to raise winning MP seats from 1 seat to minimum 5 seats in Tamil Nadu.
