I'm still mad that they gave us two characters from 2009. They wasted a character slot when they could've represented one more year.

Honestly, I find it amazing to make sets just to RETIRE a line. Shows that despite being a company, they still had some love for it.

I got this recent tribute set, I used to own the original bionicle set wayyy back that had the golden mask, I was like 10 so had no idea that this was going to be popular in the future, so to get this literal brick version or one of the most iconic Lego characters in history is really cool, hope they do more like this in the future

In the comic, when Tahu is reduced to his Mata form, he laments that he’s been reduced to a weaker state. Even Tahu thinks the Star sets were mid 😭

Man they gotta bring bionicle back they were so cool I loved them. They were a lego product I actually mixed and matched with instead of just following the instructions

I actually love this line. The designs may be simple, but I still like them. And the character selection, while a bit odd (why Gresh is here I have no idea), I still think it works

i like how the gold pieces represents the challenge the toa mata faced like how the end on the sword hilt is nuva shoulder amour and the fist armor is the boraks hand

I never really messed with these but I did have the last one when I was younger. I recognized it immediately.

I think it's great they at least gave us some throwback sets and it also ties into the story on top of that. I just wish they would have given us some more complex builds. I would have LOVED to see a Glatorian version of Takanuva, or a new full Rakshi build. These were really disappointing, but I'm glad we at least got something.

And to be honest, I don’t mind the Skrall that much.

I don’t mind the stars being Matoran. I just wish we didn’t get two Glatorian in the line. I’d of loved to see a Toa Mahri or a Vahki in the line to cover more of the series history.
