When I heard Eric for the first time( and it was 23yrs ago) I immediately knew that he was influenced by both Donny and Stevie, but Bobby? My guess is because of the smoothness in Bobby's voice...a calming style that any jazz/rock enthusiast would quickly attach themselves to.
