I feel you about the uniforms. We are starting out a new private school this year, with formal and sport and all different jumpers/jackets. so confusing to keep up with and expensive! We also cant buy from Target etc. But I only have 3 kids haha. Oh and officeworks use to sell single texters, and I would buy the black ones as my boys go through them so quick too! Hope your kids transition well into your new school!

I went for plastic drink bottles with the insulated sleeve 👌 winner winner chicken dinner. I also only had to buy insulated lunch bags this year as the lunch boxes are still perfect. I bought yumboxes 3 years ago and they’re still going strong.

It cost me over $1, 000 to get everything for back to school for three kids last year. I don’t know how you manage to afford for 10 kids. You’re so great with budgeting and taking care of your family. Congratulations on the 25k too, well done. I hope you keep growing because so many young families would benefit from watching how you care for your children and especially how well you guys parent them.

Office works actually sell the Faber castell connector pens individually as well as extra colours I go there to top up if I run out of certain colours

You can by the black castels individually at Officeworks! Saw them just last week

I recommend the Nike drink bottles. Sports power Geelong online have them 3 for $35. Which is a bargain. They don’t leak and last forever. Lots of colours so no one will have the same colour.

4 of ours in private school and 2 in special education so it does cost a lot but with us budgeting all year .

Woah that's alot for school uniforms. My primary kids don't have a sports uniform they wear the same uniform every day. Shirts are $22.50 for primary school shirt and $37 for high school. Primary school can wear any navy shorts/skorts or pants and high school wear any black shorts. Primary school have to have the school hats but high school can wear any. High school kids can wear sports uniform every day. We do have a uniform shop for primary school kids that sell jackets and jumpers with the school name on them. And high school uniforms from lowes. I only have 4 kids and have spent a fortune as I have one starting kindy and one starting high school. One good thing is our school shirts are unisex so we can pass them down.

Those uniforms are expensive! My daughter goes to public school in Illinois and doesn’t have to wear a uniform. We don’t have to pay for books but do have to provide all the stationery which can be expensive if you buy it from the school. They offer stationary packs but they’re really expensive $60-$70 depending on what grade they’re in. I just shop the sales and when I find a good deal throughout the year I pick stuff up!

At least your school has uniforms, My kids school (Victorian- Public) has a shortage of pretty much everything in every size due to Covid. I can just goto Target either as they have a split colour shirt with logos on them.
Also the Nike drink bottles are the BEST by far. Tried a lot of other brands but they’re the best.

Wow seeing all this makes me so glad I homeschool. We just reuse the same stationary year after year. All I had
to replace this year was glue sticks and erasers 😁 Sharpeners are so expensive here for good ones...I'm still on a personal quest to find the perfect one 😂

I got stupidly excited when I found one of those Bic pens with the 4 colours but instead of the green ink in this version it’s a paser! So you have a blue, black and red pen plus mechanical pencil and it has an eraser on top. So good haha

Costco sell the contiguous water bottles in a 3 pack for about $30 in a tall one and little kids. They are really good and have a little lock on top

Very impressive how you know what items belong to which child and be able to keep it all organized. I don’t know if I could do that, that an awful lot of stuff. And I think it’s crazy that Schools want the older kids to have these very expensive calculators that a lot of families can’t afford.
