Poor family😢. The Walker definitely needs justice! Man would dare shoot a human if in his property also, apparently. Without threat, like the dogs were doing 😢

That is soo sad I am sorry for your loss. I have a pack of 12 and each one is my child. I had a guy shoot at my dog a while back because he was disturbing his chickens and I was lucky enough to see it and he was injured in the ear. I went and handled that neighbor myself. You don't treat any animal that way. I hope this guy fries in hell. Dogs and all animals deserve better treatment under the "law" and taking an animals life should be just as consequential as taking a human life. Life in prison without parole. Vegan 💯

This family lost loved ones.
So they were in his yard. So what is so special about his yard. They were dogs. They didn't know whose yard it was. The man owes this family at least an apology.
My question is what would he have done had it been 2 little boys who wandered into his yard. Would he have shot them as well? PROBABLY!
Another reason why I am anti-gun. The gun didn't pull it's own trigger - the man did. Maybe he needs a good dose of 'an eye for an eye.' Give him a shot 💉 in the back & let him Army crawl, seeking his loved ones, assuming he has any. Not a bullet mind you, as that would be cruel. But a medication (that would take time to wear-off, maybe 3 days) JUST to let him understand the cruelty he inflicted onto those dogs. Plus the pain of their family.

Stop playing the victim. You also broke code by not keeping your dogs on your property. The other guy might have been trying to protect his pets/livestock too. You LOVE your dogs well don't you think he does too?

Im confused. Sounds like the landowner followed the letter of the law, and the dogs had no collars:
Michigan's dog law, in § 287.279, provides that any person may kill any dog that they see in the act of pursuing, worrying, or wounding any livestock or poultry or attacking persons, and there shall be no liability for such killing. Otherwise, it is always unlawful for any person, other than a law enforcement officer, to kill or injure any dog that has a license tag for the current year.

Lot ppl shouldn't own dogs. I guarantee them dogs run wild more than just this time. Always two sides too the story

Those 2 remind me of my own dogs. Why would someone do this?? Heartbreaking. I can't believe they found the second one 20 miles away dude must of dumped it or it ran that far from fear. Yes legally you can kill dogs harassing livestock but this is excessive I'm sure a warning shot would have sufficed
