From what I understand, he went for another note and it didn't come out and so he tried again and the D8 came to be....and the note is off the piano. He is the most versatile and technically trained singer of all you like his music or not, there is no doubting his talent and ability.

I think you will find there is no D8 on a piano, its off the top. Dimash always used to go for a G7 in this song, he tried but missed it. So he threw out this incredible D8 note, with vibrato, live at a late night live song at a music festival, where 170, 000 people were lucky enough to witness it. He said it was spontaneous and unplanned. I believe it's the highest note ever, sung live in public. Its different to squeezing into a microphone in a TV station. Dimash is just unbelievable and so special ❤

Dimash said that the 2nd time you see him waving the mic around and no sound comes out, is when his voice failed him and he had to make a quick adjustment and that supersonic was the result!!!
