Of course I want this device as a gamer and I bought it more then one week ago. Non other laptop with similar performance can give you such a versatile use cases plus mobility. Being father of a small child I must adapt and play in different places, and with this device there is no issues with that. In addition you never block the air intakes even if you are using it on your laps - which does not work like that with laptops. Yes, I do agree the price is very high, but at the end you are paying for innovative chip which is hard to be found in any other device on the market, there is very premium feeling as the case is done with CNC aluminum, the screen is top notch for IPS standards and the performance is extremely good. I can not be more happy with my purchase :)

I just really think that you missed the point what this device is for as a developer and designer there is nothing out there that dose the job on x86 it's incredibly versatile and just a jack of all trades, it's a portable PS5 a drowning tablet with editing capabilities, a desktop on the go lvl CPU and is smaller then any laptop ❤

The mobility which this device offers along with ability to play AAA games without a sweat is Amazing. I have this device and you can just disconnect the keyboard and connect a Xbox controller…it’s Amazing. Weighs just 1.2kgs without keyboard. In addition you can also get a nice Razer Mini mechanical wireless keyboard to connect with this.

Traditional laptops are heavy to carry around and burn your lap when gaming. This is where this device is game changer…period. What else you can ask for..just Amazing

I do plan to replace my X13 with the new Z13. I am just waiting for stock to be available for the 128gb version and also wait until later on the year when it is discounted. It is simply too expensive to be main stream. Just like my X13 is. But it is nice to be able to unplug it and run out the door with it if you need it on the go and then return home and plug it back in with a monitor and keyboard / mouse to use as a desktop replacement. it is just very expensive compared to the performance you get. But it is very versatile though a bit bulky.

Interesting alternate take on the device as I do get where you're coming from. I have the z13 4060 edition and it suits my albeit niche requirements very well. Do you know if RSA will be getting versions (64gb/128gb) other than the 32gb version?

I have been using mine for 1 month and this device is pretty good playing games, doing work etc. The new chip is great and you can easily replace your laptop for this device.

I think for me it's a traditionally productivity oriented, highly mobile form factor which is now also quite capable as a casual gaming device. Rather than having to own a dedicated gaming laptop as well as a work tablet/laptop, I can buy one device that serviceably accomplishes both.

Yes I want this device of course because I game in really irregular sittings so mobility is a massive pro, and I couldn't for the life of me get used to windows-based gaming handhelds.. So a device with actual usability as a productivity device, mobility of a tablet, and gaming prowess enough for most of the games out there is exactly the type of product I need.. I think you've missed the point of this device..

1 Star – Deeply Disappointed and Let Down
I invested over $5, 500 in ASUS ROG products—including the ROG Flow Z13 tablet, XG Mobile RTX 4090 external GPU, Swift OLED monitor, and peripherals—expecting reliability and premium performance. Instead, I’ve experienced severe overheating, constant throttling, fan noise issues, flickering on the monitor, and hardware failures within months of the warranty expiring. ASUS customer support initially promised a goodwill discount, then withdrew it without explanation, leaving me stranded with malfunctioning hardware and significant financial strain. This experience has severely damaged my trust in ASUS. I can’t recommend their products or support services at this point.

I completely agree with everything — it's a great tool and a promising direction, but it's just extremely overpriced.

Bought it a week ago and been having constant issues with rgb lights on keyboard and back glass light as well as with drivers and armory crate. Terrible experience so far 😢 reinstalled windows twice already

It is not a laptop but a tablet to take notes

I think this design is useless. if you need to game on the go, just get a handheld device. like Asus Ally X or MSI Claw 8 AI+
