current Allez comp is USD3000 the Allez sprint is USD6500 that more than 100% for a meager 41secs over a distance of 40KM, Maybe if 41secs over a distance of 5KM then it is a worthy upgrade.

It's a very nice bike. No doubt. But first alloy super bike? Pretty sure the world has had that in the 90s. Marco Pantani's Bianchi was an example.

Great update to the Allez platform! As a Tarmac SL7 rider I would love to have this bike for crit races!

If you can, get a Canyon Ultimate CF SL 8 for the same price and you will be laughing at Specialised marketing at no time

I don’t think the welds are big enough. Make them bigger and uglier 😂😂

Funny when new generations weren't cycling in the late 90s back when the Specialized M4 S-Works came out. I swear it's nearly the same as this "new" bike.

This is marketing done well. Desirable for sure, but I doubt anyone would tell the difference between this and a CAAD 12. Fit, tires and wheels are more important than anything imo.

no young crit racer can afford to buy, let alone crash, this bike. And, to be honest, young racers are the only people physically suitable for a bike like this.

I just can’t understand why it exists at this kind of price. It’s quite literally twice the price of my car, for a “budget” bicycle. Budget for who? Seriously? Who?

You guys at Specialized need to extend your group rides past Morgan hill and South SJ. Not every cyclist in the world is a multi millionaire, even if it seems like it out here.

Smart weld you say? If you ask me, those welds are sticking out too much like a sore thumb.
