Fix God Of War Ragnarok Not Loading/Stuck On Loading Screen
Step 1) Restart Steam.
Step 2) Verify the game files/update the game
Step 3) I think the game requires at least 6 GB or more of VRAM
Step 4) In my case what I have noticed is that, if you have a laptop and your discrete graphics card does not meet the requirements, it will not detect it and the game use Intel/integrated graphics, there is no fix I have found, I think I need to upgrade graphics card. If you guys find any fix let me know.
Step 6) Run the game on dedicated graphics card, Nvidia users select High Performance Nvidia Processor
Step 7) Disable integrated graphics in device manager
Step 8) Desktop users: Connect the monitor to dedicated graphics card
Step 9) Complete shaders compile first
Step 10) Run these files
install_pspc_sdk_runtime
PsPcSdkRuntimeInstaller
PsPcSdkRuntimeManager
Step 11) Rename/delete save game files (You will lose all the game progress)
Step 12) Run the game from the game installation folder, try running as an administrator
Step 13) If you are using any third-party antivirus like Comodo, Avast, AVG, McAfee, Norton, bit defender, then allow the game exe to your antivirus program. Windows Security users allow the game exe file to controlled folder access and firewall
Step 14) Increase the Virtual Memory
View Advanced system settings
Initial Size: 1.5 x Total Ram
Maximum Size: 3 X Total Ram
Step 15) Update Windows
Step 16) Unplug external devices such as hotas, pedals, racing wheel, Razer Tartarus, disconnect all the additional USB adapter connected to PC, disconnect additional joystick/controllers connected, disconnect multiple monitors. Disable Overlay, close all the overlay apps (Discord, GeForce Experience, Nvidia shadow play overlay, AMD overlay). Close all the overclocking application MSI Afterburner/Rivatuner, remove the undervolt, close background app and third-party services in task manager, close Firefox/chrome browser and third-party app, remove the undervolt
Step 18) Skip this step in not able to launch the game, If able to launch the game switch to windowed mode, turn off frame generation, dlss and lower down graphics settings
Step 19) Update BIOS
Step 20) Uninstall the game, go to the game installation folder and delete the game folder, restart your PC, and reinstall the game to C Drive/if already installed to C drive, then install the game to another SSD
