On pc the key to change cast type is F11

I started playing Fishing Planet the other day, at Lone Star Lake I found the fastest way to catch fish is to stand on the walk bridge and NOT cast out far, I use a spinner and a slow stop start retrieve. The amount of fish I catch within 30 feet is amazing and because they're so close you don't have to play them long. I caught three in a row yesterday all big spotted bass. Another way is to stand at one end and cast along the walkway close to it, if you hook a fish run along to where it is and often you don't even have to play it, just bring it in.

I pressed R3, then R2 and I'm still only casting out to like 35ft.. What am I doing wrong?
Also, I have a second pole that will cast really far, but the game won't let me put a hook and bait on it. Just line and a spinner..

Im doing it but it's still the same as the normal one I'm level 7 and I'm on xbox I don't understand why it does this do i need a line because mine is 157 ft
