Stree 2: Sarkate Ka Aatank (transl. Woman 2: The Terror of the Headless) is a 2024 Hindi-language comedy horror film directed by Amar Kaushik, written by Niren Bhatt, and produced jointly by Maddock Films and Jio Studios. The film stars Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana. It is the fifth installment in the Maddock Supernatural Universe and is the sequel to Stree (2018).

Kaushik revealed an interest for a sequel as soon as October 2018. Whereas Rao confirmed development for a sequel in February 2022. The sequel was officially announced by the production houses in April 2023. Principal photography commenced the following July and was predominantly shot in Chanderi and Bihar before wrapping by mid‐2024. The film has music composed by Sachin–Jigar, score composed by Justin Varghese, cinematography handled by Jishnu Bhattacharjee and editing by Hemanti Sarkar.

Stree 2 was released worldwide on 15 August 2024 in theatres.

I think one thing that everyone keeps missing is that Jana is a very important character because in the first film stree chooses him over all men she took to possess to help him, and same thing happened with sar kata, he's the only one who can tap into the minds of supernatural.

Considering he's a character that is connecting every other character together like bhediya & stree & munjiya & even Akshay Kumar was attracted towards him .

Jana's character is way more important than it seems .

Akshay acted as a king in the asylum which portrayed that he believed himself as ruler, who wants to rule the chanderi as his ancestors did, also he told Janna (who he believed as mumtaz) to sit on his lap which he to had no respect for woman as his ancestors..

From what i noticed, Jab last mei asthi kalash ludak ke aaya tha, Akshay was just confused as to why and what was it(thats why he picked it up out of curiosity.He didn't drink anything, instead the contents kind of went inside his body on their own, maybe because he is related to sarkata)Also I think Sarkata mara nahi, movie mei ye hint kara gaya ke sarkate ko maar kar uski body ko 6 feet zameen ke neeche daba diya gaya and that nobody knows where his body is. Jab stree ne usse maara to maybe sirf uski powers hi reduce ho gayi kuch had takk(jaise choti kaatne ke baad stree ki hui thi) tabhi jab wo lava mei gira to uske baad sab log uske posession se bahar aa gaye.

Theory: What if Munjya, who is follower of dark arts is under Akshay's character's control and brings the Sarkata ashes to consume. All out Good vs evil avengers style end game movie. And Rajkumar Rao is the anchor being :P

If you guys have watched Munjya, you'll notice that in Munjya'a post credit scene and stree 2's post credit scene is the same, so that means that the wood that was cut is now in Chanderi. Also since, shraddha only whispered her name into Vicky's ears I have a feeling that her character's name is also Munni. And also the name of Abhay verma's character is Bittu, and here Aparshakthi khurana's character is also called Bittu, so there might be a connection too
