My Haitral came threaded and ready to use but I removed the thread and started from Step 1 using the video. Everything is working perfectly. My sewing machine arrived today (almost identical to the one in this video, purchased from a different shop), and with this tutorial I've managed to set it up and start sewing right away! I have to admit & agree with some commenters here, I've also had trouble with following the written instructions that came in the package (especially the part related to the bottom bobbin). Tip for the viewers: I slowed down certain parts of this video via the playback speed option in the settings. You may find it useful, too. I bought one one month ago from amazon for $30. It works pretty ok so far. But I only used it for small sewing project such as little coin purse or little strip bag. No major work has been done with it yet. so far so happy with it.
