Jack Johnson - Upside Down Guitar Lesson

Thank you for making this tutorial! This is one of my favorite songs. I just had a quick question though. Do you think that when I play, I should mute the strings using my left hand, or can I mute them with my strumming hand, I find using my strumming hand to be a bit easier. Thanks!
