I think he just described what it’s like to have anxiety, depression, AND adhd so well. I’m on day two of it and it’s a life changer

You’ve made great videos for adhd concerning adderall. For me I was diagnosed later in life and I was so nervous to take this medication when first prescribed. Once I took it…I couldn’t believe how tightly wound I was with anxiety of worry and stress prior to taking my first dose of adderall. I noticed a huge change in my overall health. I was focused, motivated and free of intrusive thoughts that kept me from reaching my full potential.

I’ve recently been diagnosed with ADHD and depression and they prescribed adderall and this has made me less worried about it. Thank you for this video and being straight forward about it. Keep up the good work!!

I was diagnosed at the ripe old age of 60 years. I hate taking pills. I finally took the plunge because in my heart, I knew it would work. Like a lot of us, if I can't sleep I drink a cup of coffee. Taking Adderall is the game changer. Too bad I had to wait so many years.
Thank you for this video ❤

I slept 3 years of my life away.. while friends and family were accomplishing their goals and taking care of business, I was just.. there. Family doesn't want me on meds, but I'll prove them wrong with my actions from this point on. 😤

I just took it first thing in the morning and I literally felt the moment it kicked in like 20-30 min later. Just like you said, I had all these thoughts uncontrollably, and usually start my day trying to put things in a list to help control what I’m going to do that day (to no avail) and it usually takes me so long just to get started because I sit there in thought and can’t prioritize what I need to do next. Soon as it hit, all the background noise stopped and I only heard what I was listening to on my phone. It’s crazy how I’ve gone my whole life with constant running thoughts and I thought that’s how it was for everyone until I got old enough to realize I couldn’t focus on meetings and presentations. I’ve been managing with all the behavioral techniques before I got diagnosed. I had no idea I had adhd until I started thinking so when I was an adult. I just didn’t realize it wasn’t always “hyperactive person who can’t sit still and can’t stop fidgeting and has outbursts”.

Adderall feels like calmness. I don't feel it but I can live my life.

Thank you for posting this video. I have just started Adderall XR at 41 and wasn't sure what to expect or if it was working. Other people have posted amazing, immediately life-changing stories about how they could do everything day one after starting the medication. This hasn't been my experience and I was concerned. Your video was helpful by describing the calmness I feel now, not a drastic sudden change. My brain is still churning, it's just a bit slower. Thanks again!

I just took adderall for the first time and I can totally see what your saying, I feel awake and focused and it so weird because I always thought that I was functioning normally. I have been able to think about what I need to do and want to do and I’m not nearly as spacey, I never thought this would’ve been a life changer.

Your symptoms off-meds sounds exactly like mine. People think it’s weird when I say I have adhd because a lot of people think it’s fake or I guess just don’t expect someone who was successful to have it because I mask it well. But it’s reassuring when I see others with the same symptoms because it helps me realize it’s a real thing.

The best I can describe it if you try it recreationally is that feeling you get when you’re in a deep daze.. that X100!

I tried that stuff a couple of times, both times I thought I was having a heart attack and it crashed my kidneys. Not for me.

It was brought to my attention not too long ago that the majority of people don't have these marathon like monologues that goin on in their heads all day. And I was a shock to me lol..I want to see a psychiatrist

I could say pretty much the same. Whenever you use medication with caution and as prescribed it’s rare that you’re gonna have negative side effects
