I didn't find a problem with "Man of Steel." It's very much like "The Dark Knight, " a secondary name for the hero.

How is "Man of Steel" a bad title but "The Dark Knight" is thematically accurate and verbally satisfying? 

Both titles are alternate names for both characters, Superman and Batman respectively. They are more "dramatic" aliases. Both fit perfectly.

Court Batman V. Superman (the name before the V. Is always the one bringing the complaint against the name after the V.)

Batman literally will have a bone to pick with Superman. I imagine the movie begins with an accident in S.T.A.R.S labs, one of the survivors, limbless Victor Stone, is comatosed and kept on life support. Meanwhile, Lex Luthor rallies Metropolis, contributing to the cause of rebuilding Metropolis. Bruce Wayne becomes a key contributor as well. Lex starts blaming Superman, as an unchecked weapon of mass destruction. Batman starts tracking down Superman. Contruction workers find green glowing crystal formations where the World Engine began terra-forming, and bring samples of it to Lex. Lex plays back video of Superman's battle and has an "aha!" moment when he sees Superman get weak during the battle. Batman finds Superman, who Superman uses his x-ray vision on to uncover Bruce Wayne. Batman utters "No peeking. Superman tells him to stop following him, and that he doesn't want to hurt anyone. He leaves. Batman is unconvinced. Superman at his apartment starts to get ready for work, when all of the sudden, sees Batman on the roof of the building next to his, with binoculars, smirking and waving. So Superman knows Batman is Bruce, and Batman knows Superman is Clark. At another charity event for Metropolis, Bruce receives a package from Lex that reads "Give this to the defender of your city. A weapon against the Alien." Bats beats the crap out of Supes in their next meeting. Lex Luthor's true colors show, as he has Superman's broken body recovered and conducts a field of experiments on him. Batman is confronted by Lois Lane who pleads with him to help her find the missing Clark Kent. Batman deduces that Luthor is holding Superman and is at the point of killing him. Lex unleashes a villain he's kept secret. His invention, a half-man half-machine, who is fueled by kryptonite. Metallo. Enter Diana Prince, who was at the charity events, witnessed Superman being taken, and rushes to Batman's side. Metallo kicks both their asses. Lois frees Superman, when no one is looking, Luthor knocks her out. A visibly pissed Superman uses his super breath to knock Luthor into a wall, then fights Metallo, Superman gets weak again. Batman tells Superman to hold Metallo, and with his grappling hook, retracts the chunk of Krytonite in Metallo's chest. Superman, takes off through the roof with Metallo, and punches Metallo to pieces. The fight ends, and Superman returns to Lex's lab. Batman has Luthor in cuffs, as Wonder Woman is talking to Lois. S.T.A.R Labs recovers Metallo's pieces. The comatosed Victor Stone is fused with the metallic limbs, with modifications added. He starts breathing on his own, and his eyes open. Cyborg is born!

I think Batman Forever was just because there was so many actors playing Batman that they wanted to say no matter the actor Batman is Forever.

in germany "capatain america: the winter soldier" got the official title "the return of the first avenger" for no apparent reason.

on a completly different note: i think "world's finest" would have been a great title for the batman vs superman movie...

The title for batman v superman, should have been man of steel: battle the knight, that way we know it is in the same universe as man of steel, has a cool name and refers to the dark knight(batman)

Hey mate, could you clarify more on the deleted rogue/rescue scene in your next show?? I heard that those deleted scene consist of explanation as to why the sentinels are able to emulate mutants power (hence rogue imprisonment) ... Also do you think we will get the extended Version on DVD?? Like The Wolverine Unleash??

I like the titles, The Dark Knight, Man Of Steel, Captain America : The Winter Soldier, X-men : Days Of Future Past, Thor : The Dark World, The Dark Knight Rises, Batman Begins, Batman Returns and my final favourite is X2 : X-men United.
