i was with someone for just over 4 years and i ended things because i wasn’t happy and it was not a healthy relationship. i ended up dating someone new with a month. many thought i moved on toooo fast but now that new guy and me have been together for 4.5 years already and everything is still sooo good. i feel like my ex and i were broken up before i even ended it just because of how unhealthy the relationship was and they him and i just slowly were separating before i finally called it quits. people may think it’s weird that you’re moving on already but they have no idea what goes on behind the camera every single day. and to the comments saying “she used to say how happy she was and now she says she’s the happiest she’s ever been it’s confusing and makes no sense” she THOUGHT she was happy. but now that she is living her life differently and with different people she is realizing a new happy, and it’s the happiest she’s ever been so far in her life... and she has many years left so she could find a happier time down the road too. it’s called growing!

this happened with my ex, i was so scared to walk away from that relationship because of the history and emotional investment but once i followed my heart and ended the relationship, my life fell together on its own. ofcourse i was scared as heck and very sad at first, but every single time i think back to the breakup now, i am filled with gratitude because i am 10000x's happier!

If youre not happy in your relationship, either work on it or WALK AWAY. relationships arent meant to fill you with anxiety and doubt, you should feel at ease, and happy most of the time. BE BRAVE AND LEAVE if you know its the right thing to do.

I just turned 27 this past May 14th, I cant honestly say that it has been hard for me accepting it. I had a vision of what my life was supposed to be and the reality is so different. I am still single and have no idea of when will the right person will come into my life. I think what helps me is that I know God has a plan for all of us. I was in a relationship and he went away to New Zealand to play football for 6 months and we decided when he came back home we would move to Australia so he could go to a better team (I live in Scotland btw) for him the day he came back to tell me he didn’t want to be in a relationship anymore! I left my job and everything to move away for him! It has took that for me to realise do THINGS FOR YOU, so I started working on my own happiness not bothering about meeting a new man for a good while, then now the perfect one has came along, I really do think! what isn’t made for you will leave, what’s made for you will stay! Carli, i seriously needed this. i just recently broke up with my boyfriend of three years. i felt like i was forced to stay in it because i was scared and comfortable and felt that i wasn’t going to be with someone else as comfortable as i was with him. i couldn’t bare to be with him because i wasn’t happy. i stayed for the other person. but now i feel like i am going to be happier and feel like better things are to come. i love you carli, very happy for you!

Finally realized my happiness was 100% important and now I have been in a relationship for 6 years wit someone else and we have a wonderful baby boy and I couldn’t be happier!!! You go girl!
