I have seen the TR-3B which is def the daddy to this one. Mine was silent and hovering. Black triangle with glowing orbs in each corner underneath. Like it was its power source.

I think I caught these on video. I recorded my video about 2 years ago. I am not sure but the size looks right and so does the description I provided at the time. They were flying about 500 feet from the ground. It was filmed in north central Washington.

First, Northrop does not assign the designator for the aircraft the DoD does. 2nd after the highly successful flight test of the air to air refueling, the navy decide that they wanted the X-47B converted to a fuel tanker to refuel the fighter jets.
Northrop Grumman VP in charge of the X-47B let it be known that Northrop Grumman does not build tankers.
The tanker project was moved to boeing. So far Boeing has been unable to reproduce the success of Northrop Grumman and the tanker is not as demanding as the X-47B fighter.
