4k London walk along the River Lea! Stunning canal walk, East London, UK.
Показать описание
A 45 minute long morning walk along the beautiful River Lea in East London, UK!
This was a very tranquil, mellow, chilled experience - with birds chirping and the sound of breeze in the trees. The stretch I walked was between Tottenham Hale in the North and Stamford Hill in the South, and the date was 2nd January 2022.
The weather for this walk was super mixed, alternating between some pretty intense rain showers, clouds, wind and some sunshine.
The sights included:
-A variety of river boats such as barges and narrow boats, and even some converted oil rig life boats.
-Many different birds such as swans, seagulls and moor hens.
-Some very striking graffitti.
-Several bridges over the river, constructed during different eras of London's history.
-Many other walkers and cyclists that I passed.
I stopped periodically to take in the view, doing panoramas of the whole scene to really allow you to see what the experience of walking this beautiful stretch of river was like.
