Not all Masdevallias have same requirements. I have one that grows very well in my climate although it did not bloom in the one year I have had it. Very frustrating. I have it in bark and I have no reason to change. The other one grows well but it looses leaves too frequently so I just moved into semi hydro with leca. It still grows and still looses leaves at the same rate, even more frustrating 😛. Best of luck with yours🤞🤞
