I wanted to do some experimenting with only a single miner in a 10 gallon tank to see how far I could push it with a small radiator. The long term goal is to make an at-home immersion box that is as quiet as any household fan (or less).

What silicon adhesive / caulking are you using to avoid the mineral oil from deteriorating the tanks original caulking / sealant?

I would recommend a different cooling liquid. Oil or mineral oil erodes. Instead use a non-conductive liquid. Die-electric is one (bitcool)

This is a totally vanilla miner? Nothing removed at all? Fans left on, thermal paste etc. Just literally took a miner and submerged it?

If so - did you use braiinsOS or something to modify what the fans are doing exactly?

Would you leave the fans on for at home unit? I am going to start testing out an old s9 on an immersion system and was planning on removing the fans.

Wondering also where you buy your miners from? I was buying on Alibaba but they have banned it now, looking for advice on a reliable source with fair pricing. thanks :) like your videos you have posted.
