In getting my new build approved, I had so many paperwork hoops to jump through - and I'm sure they're different in every location, but definitely good to be aware of all the steps in the process. So excited to see how this project shapes up!

I put up a shop with bathroom and was my own general contractor. It was a huge eye opener on all the stuff that you need done before even applying to opening a building permit, then all the building inspection steps. I'm lucky that we have an awesome building inspector and he has been so nice working with me to explain every step and letting me constantly pester him with, I am sure, dumb ass questions.
