1,046 - PREVIEW - Is Anthony Morris Losing It? | Drunk or Something Else?

Anthony Morris spoke at the recent Gilead graduation and it seemed rather incoherent to me, or maybe I was just rather sleepy. In this PREVIEW I just thought I would poke fun at him, after realizing how APPLICABLE his talk was to the insanity spewed on behalf of the governing body by David Splane in 2019.

Again, this is just a PREVIEW, positng a bit of humour. My thoughts on his thoughts and on HIS DEMEANOUR, are coming up.

TBH I do feel really bad for the guy -- he is quite obviously an alcoholic who needs help quite badly for his PTSD. It was quite obvious after the amount of alcohol he bought at Bottle King

Winston, I had the chance to go visit my daughter and granddaughter last weekend. My issues was not money but arthritis disability. No matter the pain I went. From me to you, go see your daughter. Money will never be right. But you need to see her. Please make it a priority. I can't express how uplifting my visit was.

Tony looks very unwell, overweight and bad colour, im worried he might just keel over one day, perhaps he should step down and go regular pioneering, im sure they could find him a nice assignment, alaska perhaps .

In the immediate context of this verse, it was speaking about religious sects that prohibited marriage and abstained from certain foods, but one can not help understand this verse as also relating to the Governing Body itself, inconsistently using a Trinitarian book all the while decapitating it from the faith from which it came and believing Jesus is not God.

He's only 71 years old. I think his problem may be the 'something else'. It's more significant than ever in this broadcast. I don't think they would continue to allow him to talk to 8 million JWs if it was a drinking problem. But it beats me as to why they don't retire him and shows a lack of discernment on everybody's part, including that of Morris'. Maybe there's no one who has the humility or kindness or discreetness to be able to explain the problem to him.

It looks like they appointed him as Chairman of the Gilead Graduation presentation. He says, early on in his presentation "...1972. Some of you in the class weren't alive. I think I know of one for sure, was alive (audience laughs, then he laughs) Inside joke, not Inside Story, ah, but anyway....knowing that the Beast was coming out, Jehovah blessed them and said 'Yeah we need a missionary school'..."

The Inside Story is a part of the Grad talk that they introduced a few years ago. I can't even begin to understand why he thought this might relate or even how there was some inside joke about what he was saying. As to his reference about the Beast coming out and Jehovah stating that a Missionary School was needed, he's more than ranting. It only goes downhill from there.

His instruction to the Grads not to give long prayers, particularly when the Brothers don't appreciate it like when they are waiting to have breakfast appears to be just another personal dislike of his that he's got to get off his chest. It's interesting that they started this ritual of praying before every meal to begin with. One place this instruction can be found is in the Awake 71 2/22

"If you are a dedicated Christian, you, of course, know that you should make time for prayer; that you should take time to pray before each meal; that you should begin and end each day with prayer to your Maker as well as pray at other times. But do you always do so?"
