I hope it becomes clear some time in the future as to why they let her go. Not saying it wasn't related to team performance, but 8 months ago they won the regular season (the NWSL Shield), and 6 months ago they signed her to a 4-year contract extension. The team was 9th out of 14 teams in the standings, so mid-table, as they say. The coach you wanted for four more years is mid-table and you get rid of that coach in the middle of the season? I doubt that team performance was the only reason.
