And my money is still on Stephen for the Watcher but you kinda got me with the Mark. Imma be mad asf if this is how they introduce Saul or something. Can't wait to see episode 2!

i've seen the thunder a discussion and i fall into the not hearing a voice category. It seems to be split almost 50/50 for thunder only and for voice :oD amazing how they did that!!!

Well done. Another thing that seemed a bit off... as he's riding into town, there were throngs of people at the gate but they were strangely oblivious of his approach until he got quite close. It seems more likely they would be watching for him and spotting him and the disciples much sooner, running out to them... but they just kinda hung out at the entrance until he was right upon them.

I think Mark. If not Mathias. In ACTS an apostle is to have witnessed and been present during the ministry of Jesus and maybe his note taking demonstrates this. This is more a long shot.

I cannot believe how many scripture references were made clear to me through this movie. I decided to see it in the theater wow oh wow and they said we could just come in and buy the ticket but they’ve been sold out after me. I was waiting for someone and they said you might want to go in and try to find a seat Because after you there will only be four tickets left. This was so super. I was too busy watching everything else and concentrating on everything else to make out what he said, but I know something was said.

As for people walking past Jesus preaching in the temple, remember that there was a million Jews there for the festival. Obviously not all of them knew about Jesus or believed in him.

I agree that Mark is the Watcher. I liked the marriage scene, too. Right, the bridle wasn't needed anymore

Not that they would use the same actor, but Luke was presented in a Christmas special and it was a different actor . . . . hahaha, not trying to be debbie downer :) just wanting to share a conversation :)

well you were right too that it would start with flash-forward's . . . . just last supper flash forwards. i wonder if episode 8 will begin with Jesus telling Judas to go in the flash-forward and then bookend with the end being Judas kissing Him in the garden?

I thought the Watcher is Mark as well, but I was thrown off on this because the actor portraying the Watcher, in my mind, isn't young enough - I think Mark is the young man that loses his garment as he flees at the Garden of Gethsemane when Jesus is arrested. And there it seems that Mark is very young adult, like 19 or thereabouts. Obviously not everyone has that assessment and so could be that Dallas has a different take on Mark's age at the time and the Watcher is Mark.

He (the Watcher) doesn't seem to be a hostile chronicler of what is going on, so am thinking he will be one of the gospel writers (and Mark is the one that would make the most sense)

I was a little confused on the flashback with Ramah. It shows Thomas and Cafni loading the cart for the wedding. After it's loaded Ramah walks out with her mother. But in the wedding episode it has Ramah loading the cart and Thomas comes in and remarks about the number of wine casks. Plot hole?

there's another youtuber who tracked down the social media of another actor and from his behind the scenes and social media makes a pretty compelling case for another actor to be John-Mark

I saw the sheep, and when Jesus looked at the blood on the wall, something kind of clicked knew it was important figured he was going in through the sheep gate and then I’m not sure how we found out that this is where the lambs were sacrifice. I think it was the leaders from Greece came in the disciples were saying well they were explaining passover that we don’t have a lamb. And that we have to purchase one so I think they were the ones that said. John, knew something was up because he saw Jesus make the whip wow
