I remember this stage play when I was a little girl. My Dad had just died a little while before this play came to Kansas City. The young lady in this play, had a Dad that died. So my Grandmother ask my mom if she thought the play might be tough for my siblings and I since our Dad had just died, a couple months before. My mom said she felt we would be alright. And we were. My Grandmother went with us. I Loved This, My First Stage Play. I was 10 years old. We bought this album. And I played this one song Religiously. AMEN 💯💖👑

I went to see this here in Milwaukee and I think it was the second Broadway musical I had seen. This was my favorite my song in it. I wished I could've seen it when Chaka starred in it.
