What Is Deadlock?

Deadlock is the latest game in development from Valve, creators of the Steam marketplace and games like CSGO 2, Dota 2, Team Fortress 2. It's a 6v6, 3rd-person shooter mixed with the core gameplay of a Multiplayer Online Battle Arena game; more commonly referred to as simply – MOBA.

The movement and map verticality is really something else. Never realized just how braindead the design of Smite was until now.

deadlock is pretty awesome and to think that they have only laid out the basic stuffs. Excited to see new heroes, strats from teams. name changes, hero model changes. I mean I have played dota for like 10 years and I know there are lots of stuffs valve did wrong with dota.

All Mobas have buffs and nerfs regularly to mix up the Meta.

This game is fantastic. I'm similar to this guy where I've tried MOBAs. I love the idea. But I just couldn't get into them. This one is different.

i think this dude doesnt get it. you already have a moba shooter, and you want it to have a payload and team deathmatch? the genre is saturated enough and you want another copy of overwatch? wym?

I don't believe shooting the souls gives you "bonus" souls. I believe it "confirms" the souls just so the enemy doesn't get them. if you let them burst in the air, you still get them, it just gives the enemy a chance to get them first

I've been playing dota since it was born as Warcraft 3 mods, Dota Allstars. Stopped playing in 2019 because i thought i am too old to keep up.

A MOBA for grownups. but, seriously, its good but not remotely ready for mainstream. but the bones and some of the muscle is there. i hope they dig more into the customization.
