hey i do have questions. 1 Can some ants chew their way through the AAC like pavment ants or carpenter ants?, 2 where are you watering your ants in this setup? 3and what if that ants escape? currently i have a queen with 3 ants.

I can't recommend a digging nest for starters.
You can't observe them and cleaning is hard.
Some top down nests do have barriers to expand the colonies size over time
