I'm not a Clippers fan but to have a owner that actually cares about the team and the organization like he does is really refreshing. Not using any public funds and taking on sole responsibility of funding this arena just shows how much he is committed to the team, I can't think of any sports team owner that is this committed and his enthusiasm seems genuine as well. We need more people like Ballmer to run companies, he seems like he really cares about people.

I delivered a load of steel to the Intuit Dome back in the Summer of '23...pulled around to the side of the building(Bus entrance), underground, and back flatbed into what eventually became the arena floor...all around cool experience and awesome building!

Happy for the folks that will see their property values sky rocket in the next couple of years.

Meanwhile Barcelona is building a stadium with 105, 000 seats with a sky-walk and a freaking mini sports village around it for $1.6 Billion, I think a large part of the Clippers cost is just because everything is ridiculously overpriced in California 😆

Back in December, I was going to an event at The Forum and happened to drive past this arena under construction. A banner said Future Home Of The LA Clippers or something to that effect. I think it's good they're getting out of the Lakers footprint.

I'm glad the Clippers will have their own stadium now. Game on.

Looking forward to opening.
The stadium looks like a sleeping armadillo!
PS - much as I miss the memories of the LA Sports Arena, looking forward to attending shows in 2024!

Man… “bumping and pounding arena” is not the wording I would use to describe my $2 billion stadium. But to each his own, I guess.

I'm not 100% positive on this, but I think this facility was build with purely private monies which make it far better than most other modern US venues as they usually include some taxpayers money .

The Cavaliers arena “Gund Arena” back in the 90’s to early 2000’s seated about 20, 562, one of the most in the League for a while. Then it was renamed “Quicken Loans Arena”with new owners with minor changes and still over 20k people. Later on it was once again renamed and renovated into what it is today “Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse” ready for the 2022 All-Star Game, but sadly lost a few hundred seats if not a couple thousands due to renovation. Love the building, but needs more seats. Even MSG NY has more seats (20, 789) for Boxing/MMA events and about 20k for concerts but only uses 19, 763 for basketball games. And for major sporting events such as WrestleMania and SummerSlam, those in particular have been hosted in Stadiums since 2007. Which by the way is was epic here in Cleveland. So it seems that 20, 000+ is the sweet selling spot for NBA games. Intuit is cosmetically beautiful, and will have many events hosted due to its regional location.
