I REALLY needed this. Weighed myself yesterday and went up 5 pounds from the day before. Got so frustrated and overate as a result. The proof is in the mirror. I look much better now than i did a month ago. Thanks peach.

Im doing it every day to estimate a weekly average, which I find to be much more consistant than to just weigh myself once every 7 days, but if it fucks with your head than doing it only once a week is a better choice

This is so true, my weight can fluctuate almost 5kgs depending on the time of day, how much water I’ve had, what kind of meals I’ve eaten.

Best thing for me was weekly weigh ins first thing in the morning, definitely the most consistent.

You’re awesome man, you were an inspiration for me to start working out and losing weight. At twelve years old I was 5’4 and 240 lbs, and now I’m sixteen, 5’6 and 190 lbs, and I’m still on my journey. And that advice about the scale is peak fat loss wisdom❤

I agree it’s bad but I am unfortunately force to do it as part of vials for meds everyday by my programs staff/nurses

While I agree with the mindset, as a woman, our weights can drastically change even moreso than men due to the menstrual cycle. I've gotten to a place where I don't care what the scale says. Yes I'm trying to lose weight but I don't know what weight I want to be. One I feel comfortable with? Again, it's a metric that fluctuates and 150lbs at 5% bodyfat looks crazy different than that at 30%. And imagine accidentally weighing yourself on 1 day/wk that happens to be when you're bloated or backed up or on your period, especially a few weeks in a row? That would suck.

I nowadays weigh myself everyday but the app I use to track it averages it out across a 7 day span.

But bro you’re contradicting yourself. If your weight fluctuates then what if on the day you weigh yourself for the week it’s the day you’re bloated and then it shows that maybe you haven’t lost any weight, so you get discouraged. Weighing yourself everyday knowing that it will fluctuate is the way it should be done. And then take the weekly average👍 love the vids tho💙

Weighing yourself daily it's the best because it allows you to see the fluctuations along the entire week (if you are tracking the measurements). At the end of the week you you can calculate the average to know your actual weight!
